Arise
Rise, my shadows: The command that turns the dead into an eternal legion.
Arise is the signature command of Sung Jin-Woo, the world's only Shadow Monarch. Unlike standard magic or physical attacks used by Hunters, this ability allows him to resurrect fallen enemies as loyal shadow soldiers under his absolute control. It serves as the foundation of his army, transforming what were once deadly threats into an unstoppable legion that grows stronger with every victory.

Lore & Background
As Jin-Woo's strength increased, so did the potency of his command. He evolved from raising simple shadows of low-level monsters to resurrecting high-ranking demons and even other Monarchs' subordinates. The command bypasses natural laws of life and death, creating entities that retain their original combat prowess while gaining immunity to pain and fatigue. This ability is the sole reason Jin-Woo can fight on par with the highest-tier threats in the world.
In Their Own Story
A dark mist erupted from the corpse, swirling violently before coalescing into a towering, spectral form. The shadow beast rose, its eyes burning with a cold, violet fire, and knelt instantly before its new master. In that moment, death was not an end, but merely a transition to eternal service.
Reader's Guide
To utilize Arise, the user must possess the Authority of the Shadow Monarch or be granted permission by the System. The target must have recently died; the fresher the corpse, the more complete the shadow's memory and power retention.
Upon activation, the command extracts the soul from the deceased, binding it to a shadow construct that mimics their physical form and abilities. These shadows are immune to pain, do not require sustenance, and obey orders without question or hesitation.
Combat mechanics allow the user to extract multiple shadows simultaneously, provided they have sufficient mana capacity. The shadows can be recalled into the user's inventory or dismissed entirely. High-level shadows retain their unique skills and can even evolve further if the user absorbs other powerful entities.
