Unlike other hunters whose abilities are fixed upon awakening, Jin-woo gains the unprecedented capacity to level up his strength continuously. As he progresses through various dungeons and battles both human and monstrous foes, he uncovers the deeper secrets behind his unique powers. Ultimately, it is revealed that he was chosen by Ashborn, the previous Shadow Monarch, to serve as a successor in an ancient cosmic war between the Rulers of light and the Monarchs of darkness.
